This policy explains what we do with your personal data when you use jvlxv.com. It is provided under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
1. Who is responsible for your data

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to.
2. What we collect, why, and on what legal basis
Enquiries
When you complete the enquiry form we collect your name, email address and message, together with the language you were reading and the date and time of your consent.
Purpose: to respond to your enquiry and to correspond with you about the development.
Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you give by ticking the box on the form. You may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before you did so.

The private client area
To give you access we process your email address, an access credential, and records of your sign-ins.
Purpose: to authenticate you and to protect confidential documents.
Legal basis: the performance of steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in securing confidential material (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Analytics
⟦VERIFY: is Google Analytics actually being used? It is not enabled at the time of writing⟧ If enabled, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, in aggregate. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them in the cookie banner.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 22 LSSI-CE).
Server logs
Our hosting provider records technical data such as IP addresses and request times, in order to serve the site and to protect it against attack.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security and availability of the site (Art. 6(1)(f)).
3. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under a data processing agreement:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, content delivery, database and file storage.

- ⟦VERIFY: if enabled⟧ Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC — analytics.
Some of these providers are established in, or transfer data to, the United States. Such transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or on Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary safeguards.
4. Your rights
You have the right to request access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of processing, the portability of your data, and to object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, write to us at the address in section 1. We may ask you to verify your identity.
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you may complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid.
5. Cookies
A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a website.
Cookies we set without asking
These are strictly necessary and are exempt from consent under Art. 22.2 LSSI-CE:
jvlxv-consent— remembers your cookie choice, so we do not ask again. Twelve months.jvlxv-theme— remembers whether you chose the light or dark appearance. Stored in your browser's local storage; it never leaves your device.- A session cookie, if you sign in to the private client area, so that you stay signed in. It is deleted when your session ends.
Cookies we set only with your consent

_ga,_ga_*— Google Analytics. Used to measure visits and how the site is used. Up to two years.
You can accept or decline analytics cookies when you first visit, and change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's storage for this site. Declining costs you nothing: the site works identically.
The map on this site is served by OpenFreeMap using OpenStreetMap data. It sets no cookies, which is why it can be shown before you answer the cookie banner.
6. Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data about them.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version published here is the version in force, and the date it was last updated is shown at the foot of this page.
